Midwest Law Enforcement Training Institute

Report Writing Program
MLETI Director Joe Wells has been instructing this
curriculum at the Northwest Indiana Law Enforcement
Academy* for nearly 10 years.

The basic concept is simple:
Report Writing Does Not Have to be Hard!

We avoid a lot of the over technical textbook double-talk
and focus on the common sense approach to report
writing from the officers perspective.

The Report Writing Program can be adjusted to fit 2, 4 and
6 hour time blocks.  The NILEA Basic Report Writing
Recruit curriculum is 12 hours and includes three hours of
practical report writing exercises.

We can also conduct specialty workshops that focus on
techniques specific to various  reports such as OWI and
Domestic Violence.
