The Midwest Law Enforcement Training Institute
understands that your agency has unique training needs and offers
a variety of programs designed to suit them.
Open Registration Training
Attending an MLETI hosted training seminar is a great way to train
1-5 people. You simply register your officers for the desired class
and send them to our conveniently located Northwest Indiana
campus. There is no need for lodging or extended loss of on-duty
time for travel.
Co-Sponsored Training
Often known as "free" training, co-sponsored seminars allow your
department to work in conjunction with MLETI. We will: market the
training seminar, supply a professionally accredited instructor,
multimedia equipment and all student materials. As a co-sponsor of
the training seminar, your department will be expected to: supply a
training facility (recommended that holds 35 people), contact area
departments, and supply hospitality to the attendees on the day of
training.
Your department will not only benefit by receiving 3 free seats with
12-20 paid tuitions and 5 free seats with 20+ paid tuitions, but you
will receive publicity through MLETI's marketing program. By acting
as the host site you also avoid any travel and per diem costs that
would have been necessary if your officers went to an off-site
training session.
In Service Training
The most economical way to train a large group of people (15-50
students). MLETI will send a professionally certified instructor,
student materials and audio visual equipment to your department to
conduct the training specifically designed to fit your needs. That's
the best thing about this type of training, YOU are in control. MLETI
can conduct any of the standard training programs and modify them
to meet your requirements.
"Instructor only" in service training is another cost cutting option.
MLETI will allow you to supply audio visual equipment, and
photocopies of the course materials for your officers in an effort to
better utilize your training budget.

Is there a topic or situation that you need addressed and haven't
seen a program in the MLETI course catalog? Let us know! MLETI
is developing a network of certified trainers and will be able to supply
additional training seminars or direct you to a qualified instructor who
can.
